What Happens on the Day On the day you will board the cockpit of a Cessna 152 aircraft. After completing a pre-flight 15-minute briefing your journey will begin. Your 60-minute flight starts from the time the engine turns over. Once in the air, you will take the controls and fly the plane yourself and experience the rewarding exhilarating thrill at 2000 feet in the air. Your flight instructor will take you through basic manoeuvres including turning, climbing and descending before landing the plane. On your return to the airport, you will have a 15-minute debriefing and be presented with a Certificate of Achievement as a memento of your introductory flight. This introductory flight even counts towards achieving a Private Pilot's License if you get the bug and want to proceed further. Location: Weston Airport, Dublin.
